S Robins Styling
Think pink hues with net-a-porter this season, this transitional period between summer and autumn is normally introducing blacks, navy and deep colours. But this year we are looking at brights and pastels.
When you visit net-a-porter.com you are hit with a vision of pink. The romance floods from it whether it be a bag, dress or shoes.
The colour is being introduced to all, it is warm pink, cool, light, dark, mixed into a print. You will find one for you.
Valentino is keeping it pretty even with the pastel pool sliders. Adding lace and flowing sleeves for that extra feminine look.
Missoni have opted for the tonal pleat in their waisted dress, showing figure but still with elegance.
The Ganni midi dress in the middle is a little more risqué depending on what you wear underneath, very pale pink lace detail dress with a soft scalloped edge and short sleeve but sheer to give a glimpse of whats underneath.
The Rick Owens velvet mini dress is gorgeous, legs out but a simple shape with high neck and loose fit gives this pale colour a bit of edge especially with a black calf boot to show off gorgeous legs.
Bright pinks and deeper pinks. Boutique Moschino on the left, simple cut with ruffle detail at the bottom for a pop of colour.
Stella McCartney dress and jacket have gone for a deeper and brighter tone of pink. The dress is a simple cut semi structured dress. The jacket adds the tone into an outfit carrying the colour through to the autumn.
If you just want to add a pop of pink or if you want to go head to toe there are accessories too.
Malone Souiers backless Velvet pumps with silver straps are stunning (I am eyeing them up myself) perfect everyday flat.
Acne Studios cashmere scarf is the perfect winter accessory, edge it up with a leather jacket or an oversized navy or black coat.
These Mui Mui shoes are wonderful. Pearl detail on thin straps with a block heel, great with jeans, skirts, dresses, jumpsuits. Wedding shoes (for bride, bridesmaids or guests) the perfect all day heel.
Take a look at the designers thinking pink, I love contrasting fabrics. A pale pink and a leather jacket work well especially with a soft velvet or cashmere. The mix of fabrics compliment each other.
