Jeans are everywhere! More and more denim brands are appearing at the moment and there is a bigger selection of styles than there has been in years.
Everyone can wear denim, it just depends which style you go for as to how it will look on you. I have tried and tested many styles, I have a couple of pairs of skinny jeans which I don't find the most flattering on me but with a pair of heels they work perfectly. Slim boyfriend jeans with a higher waist are also one of my favourites but a high waist straight cut jean is probably the most flattering, I have also grown incredibly font of a cropped length, anything ankle length I love!
When it comes to closing denim for clients there are a lot of factors I need to think about; cut, shape, waist, pattern (embroidery/embellishment), pocket placement and fabric. The fabric and wash of a denim can be the most important part of finding your perfect pair of jeans.
If you live in denim as I do on a day to day life you want something comfortable that looks great so finding the perfect pair is important. I also have found that the more you spend on jeans the longer they last and the better they feel.
These are 2 denim brands I really like at the moment but the list is endless. Give me a call to find your perfect style denim.
MiH was originally founded in 1970 and recreated in 2006. This is the only true British brand in the price bracket £170-£250.
They produce different styles in all different washes with slight tweaks. There is a variety of choices with wide leg jeans with different detail, straight leg, boyfriend cuts as well as slim boyfriend, slim leg and skinny.
None of the rises are particularly low and they don't do ultra high either just a small difference to suit different body types.
Sezane Paris relaunched their denim collection last year and it has worked extremely well. They have different styles, slim, 7/8 slim, perfect boyfriend jeans, mom jeans and a gorgeous straight leg. Also the flares are in there again making a flattering return for 2018
Great price point at £85-£100 but you will have to buy before you try as this is an online brand
